Boozt collaborates with well-known Danish artist Rasmus Seebach to encourage Denmark to dance together this summer, raising money for school lunches for children in need. This is the starting point for the initiative "Let's Spread some Happiness", which is a joint effort by Ramus Seebach and Boozt. The two parties have partnered together on charitable projects before, most recently with the Knæk Cancer campaign. Now, the latest campaign will focus on supporting the charity organization 5 Skoler.

“I love when music and dance can help move mountains. And I am very proud that my music together with Boozt.com can make a very concrete difference for the organization 5 Skoler. It makes sense to me when my platform can be used to create positive communities for children and young people, ”says Rasmus Seebach about the thoughts behind the initiative.

The campaign is centred around Rasmus Seebach new song ”Så Længe Vi Danser”, with the message that dancing together creates unity, which gives hope. Hope and change are also central to the organization 5 Skoler, which works to improve the conditions of Syrian children and women by building schools, women's centres and children's meeting places. The organization was struggling due to Covid-19 back in June last year.

“The meetings we had in our calendars were cancelled and we had to look for new solutions. We had a meeting with Hermann Haraldsson, CEO of Boozt.com, and he was immediately on board. Together, we received funding to start a new and extremely important project, namely the women's centre close to the Syrian border, ” says Maren Elise Skjerlie Gilling, founder of 5 Skoler, and continues,

“It is cool of a company to dare to work with an organization like us. The value of this cooperation is enormous for us, as we have the opportunity to tell the story of the Syrian children - they are the 'forgotten children’ of the world, and no children should be. They need to have schools to go to and school lunches. A project like this with Boozt.com and Rasmus gives us valuable exposure so we can enter into even more valuable collaborations and continue our work. ”

This is an important collaboration for Boozt, that has worked to support 5 skoler even before the new campaign. Dorte Tandrup, marketing director at Boozt says:

"Where there is a will, there is a way. We saw an opportunity to create something joyous and special together with Rasmus and 5 Skoler. We were already in collaboration with 5 Skoler, so it was a natural thing to support. We can contribute with scale, so that initiatives become larger and exposure increases - this must be used for important issues. With the entrepreneurial spirit that is still strong within Boozt, we can deliver on projects of this kind with extremely short deadlines. ”

Boozt will host a dance competition on Instagram where people can post videos of themselves with the hashtag #boozthappiness. For every video posted Boozt will donate DKK 10 to supporting 5 Skoler provide school lunches for children in need.
